Ok, so I need some DJ headphones at some point and my birthday is soon around the corner.

I was looking at the Pioneer HDJ-1000s and yes I know they're pretty damned expensive.

Any suggestions or is that a good choice?

Thanks in advance

Simon.

you can pick them up for around £15 or less 8) 8) :thumbl:

i would seriously recommend you try these out with your own taste in music, as i always suggest buying these
dont be put off by the cheap price, bang them on ya head & listen
no point in being flash with dj headphones, only the anoraks will go 'oh look, he's using blah blah'

once you start headlining gigs with Dave Clark, get the ones you want :thumbl:

rather than listen to us rambling who/what is the better headphone
go down to any hi fi shop and try them all out, let your own ears be the main judge
that will influence your decision and not the price

true you can spend some silly money for something that is just going to hang around your neck

and in a club enviroment, are you really going to hear the sound quality?

i think not

and if its not in a club enviroment, why spend that kind of money

but ultimately, its your money
