I've seen 8800GT 512mb as cheap as £106 now, it's crazy!!

So much for that, PC won't even POST with video card in. Balls. :evil:
Could be DOA but my guess is its the motherboard, will need a new one unless I can sort it. Was looking forward to some COD 4 action. :(

Back to 6800 for now. :(

Well after reading a lot about this it seems the card is not compatible with the motherboard because it needs a x16 PCI-E slot where as mine is a x4 and nvidia didn't write the video bios to support older slots. So:

My question is what is currently a good motherboard to support the above hardware? (Asus and less than £100 preferred)

i got p5k... its a good mobo :D not had a problem with it... (providing u dont have 2 chucky graphics cards in there that is...)

mines just a little crammed for space with loads of cards (got tv, graphics card [2 slots], inactive wireless card) and dont have much room for anything else on the slot pcie and pci...

Can't complain really, new Video card, one of the latest motherboards and a +-DVD re-writer for £250. :smile:
