looking for a cheap pc with moniter for my gf for around 400 no more thats my max really, need it for internet and playing games such as sims 1/2 thats all. IS what i picked suitable or is there any better options availible to me?

tbh she wouldnt need a 19 inch monitor... so u could prob get a 17 and have something slightly better :)

All looks very fair to me. And that system wouldn't suffer to badly either with gaming. The 8600 isn't all that bad. Runs most new games quite smoothly on normal specs.

ill shag her for 1/2 the price on a regular basis and she`ll have far more fun. dont tell all her friends though this is only cause your gchq - they have to pay full price :thumbr:


its more than enough and if you shop around on dell deal of the day with niceys bargan codes you might get it for 300 mate :)

8600GT is shit compared to the 3850.

3850 is 2x, sometimes 4x faster, for about £18 more :).

P.S Don't buy your gf lots of stuff, you don't get it back ¬_¬. Also I just read your post, Sims 1 / 2, I'd probably get this, http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140617 instead.
