Overclockers are flogging a single 9800 GTX+ for £129, versus a 9800 GX2 for £225. With Crysis as the benchmark, the 9800 GTX+'s in SLi give a 4 FPS increase over the 9800 GX2....  ...for 100W increase in power consumption   I'm thinking GX2 is the way ahead here? |

i would get the GX2 just because it would take up less space. and later when they are cheaper u can always get a 2nd one to double the output for better games... as if u get 2 GTX's u will have to buy ANOTHER 2 cards (or 1 big one) to replace them... GX2 ftw tbh |

I'd get the 4870, Nvidia cards always score higher on Crysis, guess who is paying for that to happen... Also the 4870 is still fecked for Crossfire, but that'll be patched eventually.  Support the Green Team! |

If you get two cards you still have the option to run 4 screens, very handy for photoshopping. |
