Samsung are doing LED backlights now, should be the best on the market and apparently do blacks very well. Sony have 100Hz motion flow, Tescos are flogging the KDL-40W5500 for £1k and the 46" for £115 more: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-7955.aspx http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-2371.aspx They're giving away Sky HD boxes with them as well.... EDIT: Check out pricerunner |

Is no one bothered about input lag? 40ms on large LCD panels. I am looking at the Panasonic 42G10. Its a plasma, its input lag is 21ms in game mode. Its dynamic range is superior to comparable LCD panels so a better picture? £798.90 from Amazon or Dixons. Also I think the 10 series Panasonic's come with 3 years warranty standard. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-TX-P42G10B-42-inch-Widescreen-Freesat/dp/B0020ZHGI2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1248432199&sr=1-2 |
