Hi All, I want to upgrade my monitor to 24" or 28". I have a budget of £200 - £300 max Uses will be Gaming primarily and general usage, will NOT be used for HD Films I have a mahoosive Bravia for that job My Gfx card is the 2gig 4890, so the panel must be ideally HDMI. I have had a Samsung 215TW for some time now which has never given me any issues. So, please can you suggest a gaming monitor that takes into conisderation my parameters above. On anaother note i have seen the Hans G 28" for reasonable money - is it all size and no quality with this panel ? Reviews seems mixed. ?!?!?! Thanks in advance for any help you can provide ! Ta.

Tough one this as I have heard so many differing views on that panel.

i use a 26 inch lg at 1920x1200. and no problem with pixel size and i have very sharp eyesight. you simply find that you natually position your monitor slightly farther away from you. You always end up moving a new monitor around for a few days after you gt it till its comfortable..
Ps, dont forget that you need to buy 3 monitors for eyefinity

Thats a step too far for me. With respect to pixel size, if you have a 1920 x 1200 res across 24" versus the same res across a large screen real estate then I would assume that the larger 28" woudlnt look as sharp as the 24" because of the pixel size - is this an incorrect assumption ? Anyways I ended up buying a 2nd hand Dell 2407 WFP Rev A04 for £200 which I thought offered the best value for money, heard nothing but goods things about this monitor.
