"set to rise"... uhh... the prices rocketed a while ago.. when i got paid on tuesday i went to buy a new harddrive thinking.. oh, ill get a nice 1tb internal for £40.. WRONG. more like £60 now.. guh..

Oh this might explain why prices on Gigabyte MB has gone up. They are From Taiwan and not Thailand though.

And you lot say I need to be aware of the rising water.. send your rubber dingys to the poor thais instead.

look again at HD prices - 2TB are £160 in some places now :evil: :evil: :cry: :sad: :thumbd: i was just about to buy 8 of em :(

Looks like its not going to get any better neither: http://www.channelregister.co.uk/2011/11/04/pc_shortages_at_xmas/ Although ram might come down in price even more as suppliers try to offload excess stock.
