 Post subject: a new blue screen i have never seen before...

i got another blue screen error...

on the screen it said it was caused by the file "NV4_Disp"

any idea what i can do to stop it?

generally, despite what the error is, blue screens are usually memory failure.

it happened when i was loading a map on DC :roll:

No. Its often because of overheating, or windows being stupid.
Try and update your BIOS.
Also try and reinstall your video drivers.
Or try and disable trilinear filtering.
Other ideas:

i have 1gb of ram... but i will run my 512mb ram later to see if it makes any difference...

I've had that :shock: If you google it you quickly find millions of causes for the same error message - n1 Bill :roll:

Have you updated anything recently? For example gfx drivers....?

i havent updated anything... dispite things telling me to do it... i havent... (may b the problem... :roll: )

NV4_Disp = nforce 4 driver, reinstall gfx, mobo and direct x, that should sort it :D

As it is already pointed out, the crash is to do the Nforce 4 drivers.

i get them on call of duty 2, rome: total war, and sometimes just at random times... and the was the first time and it hasnt happened since for this one...
