the antec p180 is excelent, the power suply is in a separate chamber at the bottom of the case with a fan in between that and the hard drives, if you choose to have the hard drives in the low craddle, the fan pulls the air across the hd's and power suply, then in the top chamber you have everything else, keeping these cool is 2 120mm fans 1 of which is on top the other on the back both drawing air out of the case, there is an option to put another 120mm fan in the front on top section and bottom section, then there is also an air intake which sits above where the graphics card is pushing air onto it, as far as noise is concerned it is very quiet, the outer skin is triple layered, the hard drives are on rubbery gromits reduceing noise and vibration to none existance, then there are the rubbery feet, they've made this so sound that when i was putting it together and running it installing os and stuff i had it running on the wooden desk and there was no noise coming through.

linky for it http://www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=09180

it comes with powersupply (decont one) and looks good without be shite. Also highly functional and high quality.

I went for the thermaltake tsunami dream even tho para's advive was to get the P150/P180. Reasons being that it was at the website where I was spending mu moohooney and it looked more tastey. Temp reading are nice n low would'nt freeze a polar bears testicles tho.

Best part is the plug and play on installing all the devices.

Was at an event last week mate and ATI had that case showing off a crossfire system. Its a nice case, the front fan has a wierd affect on it with the lighting (not sure if that was one of their custom fans or what)

Its not very big inside though, and if you have a lot of components you better hope that the coolin is good enough. To be honest it looked a bit cramped with two x1900xtx's in.

A Case (and PSU) is something you should never really do too cheaply

EDIT: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chas ... wa/bwa.asp

I almost got that case, got good reviews

Nooooo!!!
Knowing *that* particular Maplin store, handy for desperation (because it's more or less on my doorstep) but not much else.

Just up the road, more or less...

Just for the record, I got a http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/fulltower/xaser3/2000a.asp
Aluminum makes sooooo much difference, a steel (black/blue) one empty is more or less as heavy as mine fully loaded.
(Think LAN carrying, although I settle for my lappy)

And she's got a http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/midtower/lanfire/vm1000a.asp

Thermaltake fetish....?
Me....?
