Just out of curisoisty, did games work when you had that massive fan blowing into the case?
If they did, then its probably a heat problem - but if they didnt, I think it may be something else.

Just a thought, when i first built my computer my graphics card and motherbaord didnt agree with each other and my games just chrashed after 5 mins...
Could Help if you listed the specs...

That's quite reasonable for 500 quid. So reasonable in fact that I think they must have cut some corners.
Sounds like they put a complete cheapass PSU in it, which is more than likely the cause.

If it's 300W, then I can say 98% sure that's your problem. Even if it was an Enermax or such it's still inadequate.
It's not heat related mate.

bloody hell nice specs
see what (non working)pcnextday say
see if they can do you a deal on a new psu (@ least 500w), say like a hiper or something similar

hiper are decent psu's for the money and power stability, must point out i work for neither of these firms as i've realised it sounds like a cheesy advert/sales bollox
