On the Archemedies we have, we keep all of the bank details/pin numbers etc etc in a file which requires a password to open - its not connected to the internet so its pretty secure
My mother wants to get rid of the archemedies though, so is there any program which will allow you to create a password protected file, which needs to be very secure?

Provides two levels of plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password:

Quote: ok where to start.
firstly, this is too little, too late.
windows 98 should have had a private folder/file encryption functionality but it didn't, nor 2K, nor really XP, i know it does, but it's pathetic.
private folder is too little, too late.
using it for just five minutes i found out icon caching problems, weak encryption on the password schema, plus who the hell is gonna trust Microsoft with their private files?
WGA phoning home, this app needs WGA?
no fu**ing thanks. That too. XD I PMSL when I read that, lmao Quote: To horsecharles
That too XD
