I try to open my videos...it gets about halfway through loading thumbnails and stuff, and hangs the computer...
Ctrl-alt-del shows that cpu usage is 100%, and processes show that it is nearly all being used by dumprep.exe
i have to stop explorer, then dumprep, then restart explorer to get things working again....
in fact, any attempt to access my videos screws up the computer...
I'm installing sys mech 6 now to see if it can find out whats wrong....
[Edit] ok, so dumprep isn't the problem, its something the problem causes...
So its just opening my videos spoons it up

hmm...if i open my videos via a open file box, its fine, its just if i open it in explorer.....
what free programs alow to you partition a disk thats being used?
