My theory was a damaged overheated Graphics card...

Could be corrupted driver or even a broken monitor lead, but you would think that the lead wolud make the whole screen yeller, and the software driver a whole thing too. Is it shared memory g/c? if so the memory might be shagged _________________

it could be a knackered, card check the pins on they moniter plug as well.
(i bent a pin on one of my old pcs and got stuck with a green screen.)
