Just now I've been playing single player and after 20 minutes the textures disappear on some of the weapons and black squares show up when I look into the iron sights, has anyone else get this problem or is it just me?

gpu overheating? if so try cleaning the fan.

i had this problem, easy fix though.

C:\Documents and Settings\*your name*\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

and delete all the folders inside there, all just cache it will re optimize next time you try play but should fix your problem.
