The ATI ain't worth paying £50 more for....
If I may reccomend this 7900 GT - the fan on that XFX looks like the BFG one, which is nastilly noisy, so much so I replaced it with the cooler on that one....

oh i see, thought you were talking about those ones....
either way, that 7900GT is good value with the cooler (worth £30)
that said, the X1900 XT is a more powerful card...

Nvidia - dont care about the card - its all about driver support - and Nvidia is way ahead of the game.
Not a fan boy response - obvious if you really look at it objectively as opposed to Guru3D FPS scores on different Res's ! Stability is the way forward !!!!!!

Than again I found ATi Omega drivers to be quite awesome, could never get round figuring out how to OC my Nvidia card.

About 4 years ago I used Coolbits and Rivatuner - not done Nvidia since then is it still the same?

ati tool is mega easy for oc'ing
Very useful for managing temperatures (can have it change manually or can set fan speeds yourself according to the temperature) and has loads of options
Id say Ati ftw cause theres more bang for buck
