I'd advice everyone who uses the computer more than 4 hours a day to start
training your opposite arm for doing trivial tasks, to take the load off your prefererd arm.
No, this is not a w*nking thread
When you are playing games or designing and are in need of more precision
mouse-movements, use your preferred arm, but trivial tasks like open a program,
closing, editing text, moving around on screen, try using your opposite arm.
It's very awquard in the start, but you'll notice not only does your dexterity improve
but you'll also feel tension release in your preferred arm, which you've never
thought about that you had.
Also, in cases where you attain an injury, or suffer for the "mouse-decise"
having training using opposite hand can help you from being off work and prevent injuries.
Just a tip - get a second mouse. Just a plain one, most mouses are created for
right hands, i got Logitech MX518 which is right-hand-formed,
and a standard DELL mouse, which fits any hand for my left.
^^ just a general health tip

yeah it's a bit weird in the start, after a week it became second nature for me
of course, I can't play games with that hand.. especially since i use WASD keys,
and my accuracy isn't the same on left as my right hand... not that it's perfect on my right

Great advice BJ. I have been swapping sides for years at work it really does help. In my new job I use a laptop, so I switch regulary between left mousing right mousing and the pad but never use the nipple, they suck (for a change). I can't fps left handed though (can't work the keyboard ).

I use mouse on right hand at home.
Left hand at work
I right with my left sometimes too.
It's a Kali thing (martial arts thing - use yr right hand to train your left)

it's quite easy....
my hand just naturally clicks the correct buttons...even though i thought it would be easier with the buttons reversed...it's not.
(i am still reaching to my right after typing things though....like this post, where both hands are on the keyboard.)
