have a budget of 150-170 for graphics card and about 30-40 on tower
so not much any suggestions?

nvidia 7900gt.. then any case really
DX10 cards are a new thing, will be a while before they take off and are utilised fully so get a modest gpu now, and then go all out later on

where would i get that card for under 200 quid? cause thats how much i can find it for atm

They have just discontinued the 7900GT and replaced it with 2 new cards, on more expensive and one about the same price.
7900GS 256Mb @ £138 Slower version
7900GS 512Mb @ £179 Quicker version
7950 GT @187 No not the dual card 7950 GX2 stupid naming conventions
