Am thinking of buying a dishwasher for my mum

1) What brand model would you recommend or use currently perhaps ?

2) Got one set of cold water pipes for the washing machine in the kitchen.
How do I add the water pipes etc for this new device ?

ta

Compression fittings, saw and a spanner. Or solder fittings, saw, blowtorch. Which will be troublesome enough.
But if one hasn't been plumbed in previous you might find the waste pipe will give you more problems depending where in the kitchen you want to put it.
If you haven't done anything like it before get a plumber in to guide you through it, at the very least get a mate in thats done it before.

Get married and move in with mum....then you dont need to buy a dishwasher.

Miele is very good dishwasers. They last forever and are very silent.
They should also have a sticker on them(in the store) were it says
what level of energy consumption it has. Its graded from E-A (a beeing the best)

Im looking for one of these my self these days. The prices are very different in the dishwaser market. I would spend a bit more money on
a silent washer then a cheaper one that makes alot of noise and
breaks down after two year. Its very expencive to fix them.

My gf's parents have had a miele washer for 15 years i think. good buy
in my opinion.

I have a Miele. Bought from a salvage yard!!! Stroke of luck tbh, they are by far the best.

Silent, eco friently, and best of all Miele guarentee to hold spares for all their machines for 25 years. Without doubt the best!
