Not to do with my pc but i need a bit of help! i borrowed a phone off of my brother and had it on charge for several days *i cant use it because i need to get it unlocked* which i was hoping to do 2morrow but yesterday i knocked a pint glass off of my desk and it smashed everywhere and then my mate got his foot caught on the leed of my phone charger and the phone fell off. wether it hit the smashed glass or not im not entirely sure because i was getting a dustpan , brush and the hover at the time. and i came back to the phone today to turn it on 2 see if it was charged "and because there is no simcard in the phone it used to say please insert simcard." but now it just comes up blank white screen! nothing shows ...! and i was wondering wether it was due to the fact that it was knocked off or because of the fact that i have had it on charge for the past 4-5 days??

Shouldnt be either, just try taking out the batter and putting it back in or something...
Just sounds like your phones nackered to be honest....Doubt its because of the pint glass.

If by locked you mean to a network (normally vodafone) then you need to contact the service provider (o2 or whoever) to unlock it - WARNING - they may charge you upto £20 so check first.
As to the phone damage?
Take it apart as best you can and dry out under desklamp - this if wet of course!
Swap a sim card over - but if locked try and find someone who is no that network.
Either way, if it's an old phone, it seems like a lot of bother - you can get 'em on pay as you go for £30 with £20 credit! (my dad did with Virgin on a nice little ericsson - colour screen - basic phone but nice and handy)
Upto you matey!

OR
you can look on the internet for a code - just requires a wee bit of effort
