Dont bother with the ATI, there are benchmark stats on
DailyTech showing that the new G80 chipset 8800GTX card pwns the X1950 XTX by anywhere from 52% - 92%, depending on which test it is.
On the PSU front I bought a
Hiper 580w type R which has been steady as a rock since I recieved it. It is true what they say though, you get what you pay for, so dont be cheap and get your wallet out!
I don't really have a choice about being cheap, I don't get much of an income as it is, but so far I'm willing to pay up to £750, lol.
Personally, I'd like to be able to "get my wallet out" but, just don't have the income to back that up or I'd be saving for years and generations later at this rate (obviously not after I get a decent job etc) >.>;
