ati has announced its r600 core cards (aka the dx10 ones)
x2*00xtx clocked at 2.4ghz and 1 gig of gddr4 memory on a 512 bit memorybus or so (giving a 153,6GB/sec bandwith)
the x2*00xt, x2*00xl and x2*00gt have also been announced
(the * will be replaced with a number obviously but that's not been stated yet)
no exact release date as of yet, nor a price
got it of a belgian site though and can't find it in english so no linkage

its on the enquirer... but i still think its semi-rumour.
clocks speeds can/may change before release.
and ati have always needed higher clocks to keep with nvidia
will be very interesting when we get some reviews. as im looking to buy a couple 8800GTXs or a pair of these bad boys.

aye it's still not completely confirmed ..
but why do you want 2 of them
unless you're running everything on the highest settings on 2560x1600 having 2 of them's a bit overkill
