tried it, apparently my nvidia drivers are not compatible, even though they are the latest and they say they now have hd support, I wanted to try it out to test out 1080p on the projector, i did only use the usb cable and it will work fine with the latest cyberlink windvd which has support for hd dvd, it does work and will allow you to play hd dvd's on your pc, but it does not support all vid cards,

i've got a few 1080p films on hddvd, I wanted to try out 1080p instead of 1080i on my projector to see if its worth investing in a dedicated 1080p player now that they have just come out

it only has an optical out on the componant connector i think, which will do 1080i, i got a shop assistant to open the packet on the vga adapter and it had only a audio left/right rca connectors.
Unless theres a different vga adapter available, but i dont hink so.
