Anti-spyware anti virus or ATI centre etc...
that start up when you start your PC, but purposly dont give you the option to simply stop them starting up.
I know there's some way of stopping them from running by using the command console, start>run>cmd
but i have no idea how to go about it or what commands are needed.
I'm sure one of ye know
Any help is appreciated

trillian....winamp....those aren't MS apps Chadk!
msconfig very useful though - it'll flash up a few warnings on reboot, just ignore them though and click the box marked 'go away' or summat =]
