Im having big problems with my mailserver - aka i aint receiving mails. A few get through but most of them are returned to sender.
I made several tests and through sending from my gmail i go this in failure notice:

TEMP_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 12): 451 qq temporary problem (#4.3.0)

did - no problems on it.

Could you post some more info about your setup/setting/mailserver.
I guess you use qmail.

I really dont know that much about the mailserver - a friend has a hosting company that runs pure linux stuff.
Work perfectly for 5+ years, but started to behave strange the last week.
its been tested with hotmail (worked), gmail (4 different ones, dosnt come throught) and with 5 different domains ( 2 came through, the rest bounced)..
On the strange side i got 4 spams over night..

that doenst suprised me - there maybe a reverse dns lookup , if they dont match its often spam. google uses mail proxys though which can also do this as we found out when we started to bonce all mail once as most spammers mailservers doent retry for bounce`s
its a hard situation if the are adamant there mail server is working and you know it isnt _________________
