so, if i type a quote marks they come out like this ¨ xxxx ¨ ie bizrrely half sized
they should look like this " xxxx "
I have to copy the right one from a notepad doc and use ctrl v whenever i need quotes for CSS binds etc
anyone got any idea what might be up and how i fix it????

I take it you've tried changing your keyboard settings to american and then back to UK etc..
So..I have no idea, google ftw perhaps.

of course i hadnt tried that - im a little pc nublet. i use an apple keyboard with xp config. it was messed up (only advantage is it sets me a print screen option. Switched back to normal and it's now cool.
