I've not got much of a clue about these things but the fan on my motherboard is whining like mad.
It's a nforce4-a939 board.
The noise does stop from time to time but can get very annoying after a while
Any suggestions as to the best way to cure it?

Not much dust i gave it all a good clean yesterday.
It's not a constant noise just every second or two it makes a quick noise.
I'll maybe try going further in and cleaning a bit more.

try moving it around a bit :/ maybe its vibrating on something.
if its a little pecky one like intel's then maybe its best to get a big silent fan, i've got one and its dead quiet.

Lose wires in fan blades? If so easiest way is to grab alot of Cable ties.
Really annoying that sound, got me worried soo many times.
