hi hopefully someone may be able to help
i am trying to reinstall bf2,i put disc in click install,the install wizard comes up then a greeny/blue screen flashes for barely a second,i have tried manually installing it but the same happens,other discs are working fine in the dvd rom ie bf2142/cs etc,dont understand it,peeing me off now wanted to play dc mod

Try booting into safe mode, run Add/Remove Programs and check it is fully uninstalled. Run a registry cleaner on BF2 entries only. Then defrag. Reboot and try an install again.

just a suggestion...
can you copy the files from the dvd..to an empty folder..... just to make sure its not a dodgy dvd... and if you can...can you run setup from there...
aint tried it myself..so i dont know if that will work...

i just copied the entire contents to another drive..installed ok...(or got so far before i cancelled it...
