Model number?

Actually on samsungs website they say that the average lifespan of a telly is 60,000 hours so it could be fubbered?

Additionally you could read this article : hxxp://erms.samsungusa.com/customer/sea ... PROD_ID=-1

my parents have the 40" of that, and I sell those tv's all the time, and I can safely say I have never seen anything like it! Contact the store you bought it from, assuming its still in warrenty they shoul put you on the right track

"It's buggered" is as accurate as you need without an IRIS code 8)

took it back today and was told i had to take the problem up with samsung

"bollox, its not even a week old" i said

then he was on the phone to get someone to come around and turn the warning sign off

"dont bother, the warning is there for a reason
and i have told you what that reason was (thanks Arma),
you have 2 options,
replace the tv with the same model now or a refund, its that simple"

after a short discussion, i got another one

so far, so good
