any cheap sites where i can get this from,would prefer 2x 2 gig,as i only have 2 slots in pc currently 2x 512,,  _________________

I trust you have looked on ebuyer, novatech, microdirect, overclockers (not sure if they go that low)...?
EDIT: Also, I don't think that you can buy 2GB chips yet? Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I was looking for parts I couldn't find any o.0
Lastly, if I remember correctly, you can use a higher spec RAM in a lower speed DDR slot. I used to use a PC3200 in a PC2700, and RAM seems to be reasonably priced for those anyways. Overclockers seem to do some nicely priced 2GB Matched sets. _________________
