In your opinion is it better to :
A) Add another BFG 7800 GTX to my existing one in SLi ?
or
B) Buy a 8800 GTS 640 ?
or
C) Wait for some reason for a price drop / is one due ??

Well, personally I think the GFX card you have is your best bet - I'd wait, there's big moves afoot with gfx cards. lol - i run Dcon on high with a faily poor 7300GT not overclocked.
El Al, Gazala have issues with the number of graphical objects used in the hangers - they are optimising them but havent done it yet. However, it's the biggest problem with the mod and the developers are working frantically on it.
I've read of lots of teething problems with SLi - I'd wait until Dx10 cards come down in price and get one then.

Stick with it - I suspect that ATi are going to obliterate nVidia on the DX10 performance front, leading to price cuts
SLi makes most difference with gaming at high res, so if you have a low one like 1280x1024, it may not make much of a difference. Have you tried overclocking yet?

My current card is OC out of the box, so dont want to fry it TBH.
I play at 1680x1050 res

i would wait also.even when you do get a new card there is no need for SLI,the 8800gtx will run any game at max settings and max res without the need for SLI.
