Want a PC running an intel E6600 and 2GB of ram with an 8800GTS graphics card.
I already have case, psu, soundcard, HDD.
What is the best combination of ram and mobo etc....?
Ideally don't want to spend more than £500 for the lot.

Sick of having to play what should be nice looking games on 600x800 to be playable.
That and once I've built up my new pc, all the old stuff will be making Kirstys pc so I'm essentially buying making one good un and one for missus.

um, ok don't pay more than
£155 for the processor (ideally £180 for o/c one) 8800gts should cost about £175 (ideally £200 for better one)
that leaves £120 on the mobo so just do w.e

Not a fancy motherboard, but then most people dont need one, as your only looking for 1 GFX card. The RAM is pretty good and the GFX card is great IMO.
shopping cart is empty pal

Thanks to everyone that has helped, but for now I've ordered an EVGA 8800GTS superclocked 320MB graphics card, rest will have to wait until next time I'm feeling rich/credit card empty again.
