Trying out installing a phpBB board exacly like this one just too see if i can do it.
I'm installing on my own apache server just to test things out.
I extract the files and go into my browser (firefox) and point it too install.php.
Everything that comes up is just garbled code and nothing what it looks like on the website, it doesnt work at all in IE either.
Help? 
EDIT: Ok i just tried it by uploading it too a subdomain that i have and it works. I don't get it what am i doing wrong when doing it on my local computer?

I got it working, turns out some of the files were missing when uploading to the remote space.
Still dont get why it wont work on my own computer though.
