'Intel Desktop CPU Price Cut On July 22
Intel plans to slash all Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad CPU prices again just 3 months after the previous drop on April 22. With a remarkable price cut of 50%, AMD is facing another harsh battle with Intel.'
'While AMD is cutting prices roughly 20%, Intel is going to play the bully and cut their prices 30-50%.'

- Can already see notable drops on ebuyer, e6600 has gone down £20.

it always sucks to see prices go down after you bought stuff 
i payed more than 200 pounds for my 6600 :/
was only a few months ago

see the competition struggle and put as much pressure on until they crack, as long as your big enough to take short term losses against larger long term gains.
seen it, been there on the end of it, it aint pretty, they will end up talking ( AMD / INTEL ) before someone gets wiped out.

what can us Brits expect from this, overclockers are already selling a quad core for about £240, so i cant see that coming donw that much that quickly. The yanks always get a better deal than us anyway, im sure the conversion will go sour in our favour.
