Anyone know if this happened? I can't find anything out about it at the present, yet microdirect have the E6750 at a nice price of 117 quid, which is cheaper than the 6600 that they have.
Read a write up, the chip performed very well - more expensive than i originally budgeted for a processor - but it looks good.
Question is whether to buy as price cuts aren't happening, or hold off til they do.
Yes, my budget is THAT tight that I can wait another few weeks in order to milk all the performance I possibly can from a new system.
The 6750 also overclocks well apparently
Yea I'm waiting on the cuts too, I'm not sure if they already happened awhile ago cos the quad went down £100 and some of the e4000 range has gone down a bit..
I'm gonna hold out 2 weeks to see if it goes down anymore tho.
