If you plan to have Crossfire or SLI in the future then 550+ is ok but for a single card 450 is enough.

My 7600GT can play Bioshock on high <__<;;

It plays CS:S (Bjorns fave game?) with no hassle at all, I've only got a gig ram too.

What I'm saying is, Bjorn, your system is plenty good enough.

Remember you only want huge resolutions for huge monitors, jagged edges can easily be solved by AA.

What monitor do you have by the way?

My monitor is an old one, at the moment. Have no idea what responserate.

I know it's a good system now, but I'm just worried about the powersupply.
Btw, the guy at the local store made a mistake in his written offer to me,
he meant to give me a 256 MB Gfx card instead of a 512, AND a 320 GB disk instead of 500 8)

I'm just thinking monitor size, mine's 17inch and any resolution more than 1152x864 is pointless.

what psu is it then? i'd of been tempted to go for 550 watt leet psu with a system like that.. also its about amps and volts and stuff too..
not just watts ..so be careful.. u need a 12V or A rail or something minimum for awesome graphics cards or they can be damaged .. bla bla..

looking good ..

they guaranteed the 400W was good enough, else I'd get money back. Got a really good deal, got the S-ATA2 disc for free 8)

Ending up paying LESS than from Komplett, AND a 512 MB gfx card instead of 256 8)

It's amps on the 12v rail usually, big gfx cards can sap a lot of power (as can makers of them, Saphire use more than others apparently).

A decent psu does fine though, modular ftw with me (Antec, Bilbo's fault) :)

Good luck 3jorn, hope it all works well :P
