just putting a blob in the middle and squashing it is usually good enough, and will give you a very even spread.

I find it never reaches the parts of the CPU I need when using that method. So the heatsink isn't completely sunk on the CPU. But if I use a card... I should still get it pretty flat?

I mean I reapplied the stuff and my temps are pretty awesome now. I used Surgical Spirit to get the old stuff off too. Damn parents, just gimme the damned White Spirit. :lol:

And for future referance... Can you use Brake Cleaner (the stuff that evaporates quickly but cleans awesomely.)
