I have submitted my initial proposal to be accepted byt the tutor. This Final year Project was suggested by the tutor and i was happy to oblidge in giving it a go.
It involves creating a Moblie Game using GPS technology as an integral part of gameplay
CTF in real life here we come
I have other ideas as well but im keeping it simple to start with

If it's based around PC -> Fridge and you make it capture the Cobra, I'm sure me and G will beta test for you

There was an article I read a few years ago about a game that used mobiles and gps to play 'tag' with a large group of people. when you found the person you took a picture, with locations being updated via text..... or something like that

women enter the sexual prefrences and they apear like fruit on a multimap knida display and your a monster ready to eat the fruit, all updated in realtime as they move around. they have to sign a discamer form as well because they cant see the men on the display
men sign up to use the service
think pacman meets porn

Woot the supervisor has accepted my initial proposal so now i have to start thinking abou the nuts and bolts implementation.
The client will be java as most new mobiles will be able to run it. should be able to connect to external GPS devices so you can havea go Colt. You can get a pocket pc java runtime cant you, hmm just had a look maybe not. Dont make me port it to .Net Colt
I probably will be posting a survey obout attitudes to mobile gaming in the near future if you could help out that would be grand.
I might have to find out Niges address and put it as an egg in the game as a pitstop for some refreshing cobras once you've run yourself ragged

The phones got gps built in...as lots have now - no need to have an external device.....should be the perfect bit of kit to run it on.....thought thats what you meant? It runs windows apps...and of course java apps - java runtime works fine on mine.....should be easy enough eh>? Windows Mobile operating system and 4gb storage. TomTom runs on it : as do many snes rom's and gameboy roms
