Ever since i installed beta drivers i start getting what looks like artefacting on my card...

I uninstalled / used driver cleaner and now use the latest nvidia drivers... but the problem remains...

just wondered if the drivers might have pushed it and damaged it...
(could also been have when i ran the overclocking (fine tune).. maybe my psu couldn't cope and it got dmged...

sorry didnt realise image was too big till uploaded it

admittedly i haven't noticed this problem on any other game other that cnc3........ so i need to stress test the card on something graphically intensive .. i'll do that now..

nah... i did in the past have temps at 78 degrees (prior to overclock) but as soon as i saw artefacting i shut it down and sorted it out... have since unscrewed it all... re-applied thermal paste to the chip and put the heat synch back on... back at 44-58 degrees ... what it should be...

I just played quake wars, css, dark messiah of might and magic.. all ran without a problem....

i wonder if it's because the AA is set very high for cnc3 ...and again it doesn't always do it ... it can do it after a few hours.. its a bit weird.... i wouldn't have thought it was heat related the hottest it gets is 58 degrees now..

hmmmm

it actually looks like part of the ground polygon has been stretched to infinity. So it could just be the game engine.. doesn't look much of a card issue.

And yeah... it could be down to Anti-Aliasing that happens.. I see that 'type' of thing happen in various other programs. :?
