K, it's got me beat.
Asus P5B-Plus (Vista edition)
Windoze XP Home
2gig Ram
intel 6750
BFG 8800GTS (320)
Either onboard or creative audigy SE soundcard (still occurs)
Tagan 500w PSU (earthed, unearthed, re-earthed to mobo)
HD is out of old setup with a "repaired" XP install (maybe important?)
Basically the sound is fine, and the recorder works fine - it all goes tits up when I start trilo and key up. If I set the recorder running again I'll have terrible static - same if I key up in trilo.
if i wait a second - start a new recording - no static. Key up on trillo - start a recording - static.
This static is audible over trillo - but not in the test mode under setup.
Uninstalled and re-instaled trilo - deleted the hidden profile to reset settings
Trilo forum (others posts - not mine due to version  ) say that problems occur when another program accesses the soundcard at the same time as trilo
my current last option is to run end it all and see if i can single out any one particular culprit - maybe its some fancy sound add on that I dont want.....
Should i try it in safe mode? would trillo still run?

the rest of gchq dont se a problem with you not being able to chat on trillo 
try removing the soundcard from the device manager and the re installing fresh drivers _________________

new mobo...a new windows install is recommended.... because you will retain all the old driver which will load up at startup...
you still got old drivers from old sound card installed.?..

windows will use the first dll it can find to use even if it aint the correct one

Fixed - had to re-install Windoze.
So if anybody who doesn't play DC anymore Mark, wants to send me their copy of 1942 Mark, I'd be happy to take it off their hands Mark.
On the plus side I think I have COD2 somewhere....lol

t'is ok tho - I found the anthology I got my cousin for Christmas with all the D/Ls and the 3 Keys in it too
