i bought a zalman VF700-cu-(AlCu)... for my nvidia 7900gt (which is pcie card)

this fan is compatible right? its not just for AGP slot cards??

Should be if the mounting braket fits the holes in the card.

Be care to clean off the old thermal compound with this. and make sure the cards memory have got cooling associated with them as well.

ok just installed it ... took me a while... :roll:


+ side .. my pc is now silent as it should be...i thought it was the cpu all the time but apparently its the graphics card fan...

not time to test and see if my graphics card is knackad...if so it was a complete waste of time other than learning experience..

Well... it seems i was right afterall it was a heat issue...

problem = solved :) yay... or so i think :twisted:

temperature = 39 degrees.. and i was dam messy with the thermal paste..could probly get it to 32 with more care.
