there is play and then run it properly. yes it will play but on what settings is the question. my guess is low to medium.
im downloading the demo atm but it doesnt seem to run full spec even on a 8800gtx, might just be some problems with the demo though. will post back when i get to try it

And you will want a faster chip than 2.2. I would say a dual core- that way you can be up to date with anymore games that come out after this one

seeing as you're looking at the ati x1950 pro, no you won't 
it's a dx9 card and won't utilise vista's dx10 anyway 
so save yourself the money

hello there.
just played through the demo with my x1950pro 2gb ram and opteron 175 processor running at 2.5ghz.
i ran it at 1280x1024 with all settings on medium and it ran very smoothly throughout.
game looks impressive even on medium detail _________________

omg omg my dad was so nice he bought me a pc at the computer fair now i have a 8800 gf card and a 2.5 dual core thing processor so im one lucky guy so thanks all i wont be hassling you about graphics cards for a bit :') crysis here i come!
