1)
my new computer is built but my TV card wont work in it it is searching for digital channels and the anteni is in corrently and everything is installed properly... but it cant find the channels, any ideas? it has been running for about an hour and 30 minutes and found nothing... in the manual it says it should only take up to 5 minutes...
its a hauppauge t-500
2)
my wireless card ( ) keeps loosing connectiong... and it is about 5 feet away from the router. any idea? (nothing in way, its on my dinning room table at the moment) it has excellent connection... until it gets dropped

Use wired for good reliable connection.
Lack of channels probably down to same thing interferring with your wireless= mobile phone, tv, microwave, etc, etc.

Have you tried putting in one card in at a time?
As for your questions.
Have you tried plugging in a normal TV to check the signal?
Do you get digital on other Tv's in your house?
Is your router the same make as your Network card? You should also be able to manually switch to one type of Wireless mode in the router, sometimes helps.

Checked the power supply to the cards? Could be why it's intermittent on the wireless.
