Not sure if anyone is into paint balling here but I have a few questions.

Is a pack like this any good?
http://www.shop.justpaintball.co.uk/aca ... ition.html

will it be painful enough  ?

How do you know what type of paint balls to get?

co2, is it possible to fill these from a standard co2 bottle's used on beer kegs or drink machine, with some type of valve?

Been a while since I played.

*Seems quite cheap for a apck like that, but when I used to last play with any regularity a decent gun was quite costly (about 4-600 quid depending on how you modified it), they'd just started bringing out decent guns that were realistically affordable for a casual player. (Razorbacks about £200)
I'd look up reviews of the gun, and find out what its like.
But my JT mask alone was about £40.

will it be painful enough Twisted Evil ?

*Uk law used to limit the muzzle speed to about 220fps, so most guns that fire at that speed probably feel the same.
The trick is to hit exposed skin, or where there isn't any lose cloth to absorb the velocity.

It says it takes .68 on the description.

*Honestly dunno, but CO2 refills where usually pretty cheap on a site.

right..my mate has the viewloader brawler, one up from the triad, and also
uses just paintball.

for a start, CO2 cans can only be re-filled at paintball shops/sites or some
scuba diving shops will do it for you.

yes it hurts like a bitch.

if you've never paintballed before and its just for mucking about with mates
then that package is great...the main problem is CO2...id reccomend the disposable
bottles...we use them for simplicity (nowhere local that can fill bottles :( )

as for the paintballs...cheap and cheerful does it mate 8)

you can rent co2 bottles and fill them yourself if you buy the gear 8)

and if you plan on going alot then id spend some extra doh on a better gun like a tippmann for eg.

depends where you get hit and how far/close you get hit from if it hurts or not :P

and as for paint the more they cost the better they are but you have to check the use by date other wise they will just pop in your gun.

Agree iwth looking at tipmans, they were always good, unless you can still buy bushmasters.
Also watch out, dunno where the law stands but paintball guns can be dangerous, so shooting one were there may be umasked people about is probably illegal.

most countries require you have a licence for a paintball marker, and again a lot of countries insist you must keep the marker at a registered site, ie you cant take it home

Check out the laws first, uk law states you need a licence if muzzle velocity is above a certain value(1 joule app 280 fps i think for a paintball) and also a new law passed recently stating that you cant import or export certain replica firearms(including toys) so you may have to buy from a uk retailer
