I downloaded Skype about a week ago and no problems ... works great.

Woke up this morning and logged into the GCHQ forums and now I see Skype contacts in the shoutbox.... it's slowing down and timing out the forum so I'd like to get rid of it's displaying in the shoutbox. Any ideas?

Toolbar :D

Question is, did you de-check the option box? I did the same, was SURE i hadn't selected to install toolbars (I never install them!) and yet it appeared on mine or something :/

It does it automatically, you have to tell it you don't want it... sneaky buggers 8)
