right i've got myself a 500gb external hard drive for Christmas, it came with a USB cable and Firewire cable but no eSata cable. i was just wondering out of the 3 options which is the best as i have all 3 of those ports on my motherboard. also if it is the eSata one where can i go to get hold of one of those cables? cheers Sam

eSATA definitely, just look on froogle....eg stupid long link here

erm so what should i be careful of, i've no idea what Seric=GCHQ= wrote: be careful not to hotswitch with firewire. hotswitch with firewire _________________
