How much though? Read some specs, am fairly sure that whilst it's "thin" at one end (the rest of the stats looked pretty bog standard or low for the price tag) there isn't much new about it, other than some "greenish" credentials. However, it could be lacking from research from myself - revising, so can't spend an hour reading around

that's quite incredible very nice (i'm still sticking to my 0.87 to 1.33 inches though) edit: of course it's overprized and badly spec'd, what did you expect?

It's price tag is competitive from memory to other 13in, although with lower specs. I just don't see the market they pitch at. Their existing macbooks are the same size as this, except this is a bit thinner... however, it's a worse spec I think. It's still the same depth/width as far as I could tell, so it's only on the height of it that they've trimmed a bit off, with about 1-1.5cm in height as far as I can tell. No optical drive though, that's got to help with the height Basically, I don't see the point It's not height that is a problem personally for laptops, they're all about 2.5-3.5cm's tall (this will be about 2cm at the tallest part) - it is the other dimensions, so I can't see why this'll be such a selling point. Naturally it'll do well due to the "Apple" branding and sales though, and they appear to attract a good "must buy new shiny" following.

The MacBuchAir isn't THAT advanced, in fact it hardly has anything over the portable computers of yesteryear:
