Right,first off i now aol suck but lets move on . I had all aol software removed from pc years ago and since then no problems . Untill the other day ,lost connection completley had to reinstal aol and just managed to get back on . Yesterday i noticed that i couldnt access certain web sites (as i was attempting to load these pages nothing was happening like the process bar wasnt moving at all ,then i would get a message from fire fox saying "the server timed out or somthing" But i could still get on here ,ogame was fine for a while then that did the same . I had to reboot the pc and all was well ,but after a while it would do it all again . I have run virus and addware scans ,i also had to do a system retore at one point as i couldnt even get a connection . Any ideas anyone  Mezz.

maybe ur line just went down or your router needed to re-plug in your router so it restarts itself..

when you said you reinstalled *** software
did you mean you just added the drivers for the modem?
rather than the entire *** package

Drivers for modem  I just shoved a *** disk in and let it run.

they tell you not to plug in the modem without installing the software
bllx
plug the modem in (found new hardware) and let it find the drivers on the cd/dvd
that way you avoid all the crap like 1500 search bars etc etc
