transferrable licence, with support from Microsoft Quote: Overclockers (OEM - DVD presumably?): £105
Quote: The question is: Is the M$ version retail or OEM? OEM is generally DVD. MS don't sell OEM directly non-transferrable, with support from Overclockers OEM licences are always loads cheaper than any other MS licence, even Select Agreements

Bodopo =GCHQ= wrote: What does the term tranferrable licence mean? You can legally move the software onto a new PC if you buy a new machine. With OEM if you bin your PC, you have to buy new OEM licences for the new box. There's bugger all that physically stops you moving an OEM licence - it's only companies that usually worry about it. One of our customers here got audited last year for things like transferring OEM office licences onto new PCs, and buying OEM licences without the necessary hardware, this cost them a couple of hundred thousand quid
