Microsoft will be laughing come July, when untold numbers of people suddenly have to purchase it as the eval period has expired Assuming they release it by then

I'm typing this from Windoze7 I ended up downloading the 64-bit version and reinstalling, but it's all good Amusingly, due to the registration going a bit haywire I now have 3 keys Seems alright so far, although there are some odd things happening occasionally....

I've got Windows 7 installed on a VM at work, only had a quick play with it but so far it looks and runs virtually identical to Vista but with a new Taskbar and Start button. Seems to perform pretty much the same as Vista Sp1 currently does as well, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a hell of a lot better than Vista was when it was in beta or even when it was first released. Curious to see how it runs 3D games though, which is something Microshaft have supposedly spent some time trying to improve.
