she accidentally transferred a rather embarrassing video of herself from a usb pen to a Work Laptop......(she is a teacher haha) .. its bikini stuff haha!

she doesn't have sufficient admin rights to delete it.. anyway...

How can i Hax her works computer to delete it?.. i think it will be xp, but could well be vista duno.

i was thinking

a) a program called FPX delete perhaps ?? (drag drop the program contents on to the usb pen and try run the program from there - see it works...then delete the file)

b) use a script (text document which when you put code in it...grants admin priveleges over pc?)

anyway i will see if anyone has a solution...

try overwriting it with a renamed text document or so :)
If it lets you create files, it will probably let you edit them

unsure if it works but i guess u dont have command line access either
if u create a txt doc.. write command.com and save it as whatever.bat

double click it and u got command line. and maybe u can delete/edit the file from there?

just a suggestion

Good thinking - right click video, select "open with" and choose notepad. Then select all textish garbage, delete, and leave the odd whole word behind?

Thought you was gonna say

"Open with notepad, copy text and paste into a post" lol. Not even sure that actually works. :P

Or if the local account hasn't been disabled, you can try and get into the laptop that way. Rather than using a server as the login source, there should be another source that is the name of the laptop and has "(This computer)" on the same line.

You can try the classic blank password but if they've configured it, but all is not lost.
There are bootable discs out there that can GET the password (if one is stored) for the local Admin account. (The password IS stord IN the registry after all :thumbl: )

Let us know how you went. :thumbl:
